Anna Marie Groff is young for her years. Since 1945 she has worked at Central Market, and since 1960 has been selling her own homegrown flowers. Full of charm, grace, and a healthy stalwart heart, Anna Marie has been impressing market customers for a long time. She has such a sweet demeanor about her that it's impossible to walk away from her stand without a smile on your face. To her coming to market is more of a fun hobby than making money. One look at her and you simply know its true.
Anna Marie started renting greenhouse space in 1960 and turned her hand to cultivating beautiful flowers. In the past fifty years she has won numerous awards for her lovely carnations. She also sells snaps, pom poms, alistermaria, gladiolas, lilacs, daffodils, Easter lillies, pussy willows, tube roses, and Christmas poinsettias.
