Dutch Country Deli
Owned and operated by Barb Lapp, the Dutch Country Deli is an Amish-owned deli that is rich with tradition. Not many places serve up the healthy portions of broccoli-cauliflower salad for which the Dutch Country has become famous.
All the dishes at Dutch Country Deli are authentic Amish recipes handed down for many generations. It is part of the cultural experience when in Lancaster to try some of the local delights. Dutch Country Deli is the place to come for just that. They feature a variety of Amish salads such as Macaroni Salad, Chicken Salad, in-season Fruit Salads, Broccoli-Cauliflower Salad, and many others. They also sell PA Dutch specialties, like Deviled Eggs and Fruit Parfaits as well as fresh soups and sandwiches. Each dish is made locally, and most everything that is available is created from what is in season at the time. Locals eagerly await the autumn when Barb's pumpkin pies arrive fresh from the oven!
