We provide our high quality products to fine restaurants in York & Lancaster Counties and to our farmers’ market customers in York, Harrisburg, Chester Springs, Philadelphia and Bel Air, MD. AND NOW… to the City of Lancaster at the Lancaster Central Market!
Our Method of Growing
Hydroponics is a technology for growing plants in nutrient solutions (water containing fertilizers) with or without the use of an artificial medium (we use perlite & peat moss or ‘floating beds’) to provide support for the plants.
Our Hydroponic system is a closed system, meaning that surplus solution is recovered, replenished, and recycled. In combination with greenhouses, hydroponic growing is highly productive, conservative of water and land and protective of the environment.
We use Integrative Pest Management in all of our greenhouses. Simply put: we introduce natural enemies of insect pests to our greenhouses to control damage to our plants and only when absolutely necessary do we use certified organic pesticides.
We at Brogue Hydroponics delight in bringing only the freshest and best to our customers!
